MAKING THE ALBUM...

THE STUDIO

On Oct 27 2011 my Mother passed away of Lung Cancer, and on August 16 2012 my Dad passed away of Lung Cancer. It was a blow and very hard to accept the passing of both in such a short period of time.

My mom was a big supporter of me and the Bon Jovi Band and my Dad, well he was a supporter of all of my music. Mom and Dad were proud I did not pack it in when they were pushing me too once they realized 20 years later it was what made me tick.

When I received my inheritance, I didnt want to blow it so I redid the basement in my house and built a home studio in their honour. The studio is named G&G for Georgia and Gary. So this album is in memory of them and every album I do from now and forever.

I will work my ass off until at least this album is done but probably get a start on the next one right after. To all the supporters of this project thank you so much - you all mean the world to me.

Darren Smith helped me out greatly today. What he showed me in the 20 minutes he was here helped me out so much. Hopeful I can get Mr. Smith here for another 20 in the future. Remixed "To Lean On" with Mr Smith's tips and recorded guitar bass and guitar solos on "Me And My Guitar". I hate the solos in that song lol they always sound better live. Cause I can't hear all the bad notes as well. Sounding good though!!!

WHO SAYS ROCK IS DEAD!?

Last night i locked the studio door sat down with my cream coloured strat, a giant coffee, ez drummer and cubase. 7 hours later I walked out after writing and recording a brand new song. The song was inspired by the Baz Littlerock poster and is called "Who Says Rock Is Dead?".
Rock n Roll will never ever die - it may not be the pop music anymore but there will always be a fan base and an appreciation for the people who can get up on a stage, put a real instrument in their hand and make a whole lot of beautiful noise with a couple friends.
